Eden Quality Products is the store brand of KATO Group. KATO Group runs several webshops focused on Western European countries and the USA. They started 1999 with www.knivesandtools.com, delivering products from the Netherlands and they currently have shops in Germany, The Netherlands, France and the UK.
As well as binoculars, the Eden Quality product range includes cooking equipment, pocket knives, kitchen knives and sharpening tools and their philosophy is to focus on excellent quality products at the best possible price:

Eden Quality products are only bought from private label manufacturers that produce products for many of the well known brands. They select the manufacturers that are known for producing good products with constant quality. So if you buy a Eden Quality Product, you know that you are getting a great quality product. What is more, because they buy directly from the manufacturer and then sell them directly to you, the end user, they guarantee that they are the best value for money you can get.
Eden Binoculars are part of the home brand of KATO Group, where the optics are obtained directly from manufacturers located in China. These manufacturers also produce binoculars for many other well known brands. All Eden Quality Binoculars come with high quality optics and are covered by a 25-year warranty on defects in material and workmanship where if the binoculars fail, they will either be repaired or replaced.
Currently their range of binoculars consists of four roof prism binoculars, split into two lines and range in price from about £90 to £250.
Eden Quality XP BinocularsCurrently the XP range is their flagship series and consists of 2 models, an 8x42 and a 10x42.
The quality BaK-4 prisms come with phase correction coatings that have the effect of producing a sharper and high-contrasting image over the full field of view. On top of this they use special dielectric coatings on the roof prisms which can provide a reflectivity of more than 99% across the visible light spectrum. This reflectivity is much improved compared to either an aluminum or silver mirror coating and this technique provides almost the same brightness as that perceived by the naked eye, and clear, high-contrast images that display accurate color reproduction.
The Eden Quality XP binoculars also have a light weight Carbon-fibre-reinforced Polyphenylene Sulphide (PPS) body, which is 100% waterproof as well as fog proof: All the air inside them has been replace with Nitrogen, which makes it possible to use the binoculars at very low temperatures without any condensation of air inside the binoculars.
The Eden 8x42 XD has a good field of view of 129m/1000m (387 ft @1000 Yards = 7,4°).
These binoculars are also compatible with a tripod adapter (sold separately), allowing use on a tripod or car window mount.

Eden Quality ED BinocularsThe ED range consists of only 1 model, an 8x42 and as their name suggests feature high quality extra low-dispersion glass (ED).
As well as ED Glass, the Eden Quality ED binocular incorporates fully multi-coated lenses that will increase light transmission with multiple anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces. The outer lenses also feature a water-repellent coating that helps water to run off them to ensure that an excellent view is retained even in wet conditions.
The quality BaK-4 prisms come with phase correction coatings that have the effect of producing a sharper and high-contrasting image over the full field of view.
The roof prism Eden Quality ED binoculars have a light weight magnesium body, which is 100% waterproof as well as fog proof: All the air inside them has been replace with Argon, which makes it possible to use the binoculars at very low temperatures without any condensation of air inside the binoculars.
The EDEN 8x42 ED has a very impressive field of view 142m at 1000m (426 feet/1000 yards), which should really please most birders and they easily make it onto my list of wide angle binoculars.
These binoculars are also compatible with a tripod adapter (sold separately), allowing use on a tripod or car window mount.

All models feature quality BaK-4 prisms as well as wideband multilayer-coatings and their bodies are constructed from aluminium and covered in a tough rubber armour.
All Eden Quality HD binoculars are 100% waterproof and have the internal air replaced with nitrogen gas (nitrogen purged) to ensure there is no internal fogging in areas that have very low temperatures, high humidity or rapid temperature changes.
The 8x42 HD binocular has a pretty good field of view: 129 meters wide at 1000 meters (387ft at 1000 Yards) and a very good minimum focusing distance of only 1.2 meters (3.9ft)
